Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Servicing Specialist (remote) to join our dynamic team. As a Servicing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing client portfolios and facilitating account receivables. Your primary responsibilities will include obtaining case status updates from representing law firms, investigating cases that are no longer represented, providing balance verifications and statements, and performing portfolio audits.
The Servicing Specialist will serve as a key point of contact for multiple portfolios. Exceptional customer service is paramount in this role. We are seeking individuals with prior experience servicing financial products who thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent organizational skills, and are critical thinkers.

Job Duties:

Case Status Updates:
- Obtain regular case status updates from representing law firms
- Encourage the adoption of PROVE’s Ease Case Status technology (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u Tt V1y Xz NBU)
Case Investigation:
- Investigate cases that are no longer represented by law firms
- Investigate settlement payments that have been sent to the wrong recipient
Balance Verifications and Statements:
- Provide accurate balance verifications and statements promptly upon request
Audits:
- Complete thorough audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
Cross-departmental Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively between all departments of the company, including PROVE’s Treasury, Settlements, and Asset-Based Financing team

Professional Experience:

3+ years of prior experience servicing financial products (e.g., consumer mortgages, student loans) is required
Knowledge of personal injury is a plus

Skills:

Business Writing
- Professionals with a strong command of written English
- Ability to write grammatically correct emails, free from typos
Phone Experience
- Well-spoken, likable professionals who can communicate effortlessly over the phone or in person
- Prior experience in roles that rely heavily on routine phone interaction with clients

Technical:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Teams, Word, Zoom Video Conferencing

Education:

College degree preferred
