SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

- Manage daily content of JSO social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, Next Door, You Tube)
- Post engaging content daily at appropriate times
- Communicate with various units and leadership at JSO to release relevant information
- Coordinate content release with a team of talented multimedia specialists, public information officers, and unit commanders
- Stay up to date with news within agency and across the country, with a keen eye on law enforcement trends
- Engage and interact with members of the public online
- Monitor analytics and create weekly reports on online engagement
- Carry out other duties as requested
- Proficient in social media platforms and engagement
- Understanding of online analytics
- Excellent grammar and writing skills
- Basic understanding of law enforcement / public safety
- Ability to work from office in downtown Jacksonville
- Ability to work after hours for certain circumstances
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- 2 years of experience in professional social media management, content creation, government public information, or news industry
