Job Title: Answering Service Telephone Operator
Shifts Available: Morning Shift, Midday Shift, Evening Shift, Weekends

Job Summary: This Telephone Operator position presents a unique opportunity to work as an extension of many offices in numerous different industries such as funeral homes, medical offices, insurance companies, construction companies, etc, across the United States.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as an extension of 400+ business offices by receiving our clients’ calls 24/7, answering for call overflow, and/or taking after hours calls.
- Answer incoming calls promptly and greet customers in a friendly, professional manner.
- Listen to customer requests and answer questions using client provided information.
- Take messages on behalf of the customer or transfer calls to the appropriate parties.
- Perform administrative tasks such as collecting order details, scheduling appointments, or sending and receiving emails.
- Process account changes and notify management of any permanent changes.
- Update account directories, input on-call schedules, and perform other data entry tasks as directed.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Ability to type 40+ words per minute
- Must be able to speak English fluently and clearly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multitasking skills

- Flexible schedule
- Able to respond quickly and provide effective customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain professional during high call volume or in stressful situations
Remote Work:
- Intermittent; All training will be done in office (Mankato, MN). Remote work is not an option until an operator is trained in and has been working for 6 months along with managements approval.
Pay:
- Training wage starting at $18.00 per hour
- Quarterly raises during the first year
