Travel Counselor

Essential duties and responsibilities
The following duties and responsibilities represent the essential functions of this job that an individual must be
able to perform with or without a reasonable accommodation:
- Responsible for full booking of all corporate travel for CARF surveyors, in-house employees, and board members as outlined by travelers profile and corporate travel policy.
- Coordinate and book all hotel and car rentals for CARF travelers.
- Issue tickets and itineraries in a timely manner to all travelers.
- Return all phone calls to customers promptly, within 24 hours.
- Exchange non-refundable tickets for vouchers in a timely manner.

Maximize use of nonrefundable tickets by:
- Exchanging vouchers in a timely manner and
- Advising schedulers as to their presence and routes on which they are likely to be valid.
- Assist in the resolution of travel-related issues raised by surveyors and other CARF travelers.
- Participate in the evaluation of travel policy and office procedures.
- Process documentation as required by vendors.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The market entry salary for this full-time, non-exempt position is $22.06 - 30.00 hourly USD, payable semi-monthly. Actual starting salary is commensurate with education and experience. WORK LOCATION
Based in Tucson, AZ, this position is not eligible for relocation assistance or full-time remote work. However, this position may be eligible to work remotely up to 2 days per week.
The following qualifications represent the training, education, certifications, licensures, and/or work experience required to perform the essential duties and responsibilities successfully:
- High school diploma or equivalent and three (3) to five (5) years corporate travel experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Sabre system solutions software required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States. Does not now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status, including but not limited to H-1B visa status.
