How You Will Make an Impact:
The Vice President of Marketing will lead all strategic and tactical initiatives across several marketing, field sales, and inside sales teams. This position will manage a cross-functional team of professionals as well as manage relationships with outside media, software, and other agencies.
What You Will Do: Under the direction of the Chief Marketing Officer, the Vice President of Marketing will drive new patient acquisition growth across several channels including physician referrals, digital marketing, patient referrals, and patient retention. This role focuses on driving both leads and conversions at an attractive Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Return on Investment (ROI), and profit.
  • Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve new patient acquisition growth including forecasting the channel mix, channel investments, team development, and software requirements to meet or exceed growth targets with attractive Customer Acquisition Costs (CACs).
  • Marketing Goals & Tactics: Define team goals and tactics to support marketing strategies and meet or exceed monthly and annual growth targets. This includes setting sales goals and quotas by team and by rep and setting marketing targets for digital and patient referral channels in total, by region, and by clinic. Update and revise annual compensation plans to reflect targets and performance.
  • Competitive Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. Synthesize input from agencies and team members to create initiatives to compete more effectively, communicate competitive differentiators, and gain market share.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Collaborate with content team to develop effective campaigns and collateral. Work with respective sales and marketing teams to execute campaigns effectively to hit growth targets and provide an exceptional patient experience.
  • Team Management: Train, mentor, and motivate the marketing and sales teams. Recruit, hire, and onboard high-potential team members. Define attractive and achievable compensation plans. Effectively assess FTE growth and additional role requirements to enable aggressive expansion.
  • Relationship Building: Build relationships with payors, local employers, medical organizations, and referring provider networks to drive physician and employer referrals. Create and execute provider and employer events to build network and grow leads and conversions.
  • Marketing Tech Stack: Define the IT architecture required to effectively grow, track, and optimize leads and conversions. Work closely with IT, internal teams, and outsourced partners to execute various CCaa S, CRM, email/text, and other Mar Tech platforms. This involves project management, RFP execution, business specification creation, process mapping, and ROI analysis and reporting.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Monitor sales and marketing performance metrics (daily, weekly, and monthly) to forecast pacing to targets, identify lead and conversion trends, optimize campaigns, and boost team member performance. Meet with agencies and team members weekly to huddle on trends, share wins, and pivot quickly to hit targets.
  • Budgeting & Financial Management: Participate in setting the annual new patient acquisition targets and supporting organizational structures and expenses. Effectively manage monthly departmental expense budgets.
  • Innovation & Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation in sales and marketing strategies.
  • Patient Retention: As the organization builds out the tech stack, launch patient retention campaigns (call, text, email) to improve patient retention.

What You Must Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, health care administration, or related field, or substantially equivalent relevant work experience, required.
  • 5+ years of experience leading sales and marketing teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record in developing successful sales and marketing strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing technology platforms including CCaa S, CRM, text/email platforms, campaign management platforms, and Adwords.
  • Experience creating and executing successful RFPs.
  • Portfolio of successfully launched campaigns and sales initiatives.
  • Well-versed in the scriptwriting process and in crafting contributions to both short and long-form content.
  • Ability to handle a high-volume environment with rapid turnaround times and manage multiple teams with a diverse range of professional skills.
  • Practiced time management skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Proficiency in Google docs and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
  • Passion for creating innovative campaigns and content that drives results.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience building high-performing sales and marketing teams (creating org structures, job descriptions, volume targets, gaining financial approval, recruiting, hiring, and onboarding)
  • Healthcare experience and working knowledge of HIPAA.
  • Experience with Ring Central, NICE, Textel, Salesforce, and Hub Spot.
  • Experience creating effective compensation plans.
  • Master’s degree in business administration.

CCRM’s Compensation: The salary range represents the national average compensation for this position. The base salary offered will vary based on location, experience, skills, and knowledge. The pay range does not reflect the total compensation package. Our rewards may include an annual bonus, flexible work arrangements, and many other region-specific benefits.
