MÔ TẢ CÔNG VIỆC

• To develop and maintain, as appropriate, departmental rules for guiding the performance of staff.
• To ensure that all employees are fully familiar with and have a complete understanding of the hotel’s policies relating to fire, safety, hygiene, and health and that these policies are strictly adhered to.
• To develop an engineering strategic plan with the assistance of a local management team.
• Maintain all equipment in good condition.
• Maintain all Technical Staff at high morale.
• Prepare staff roster and organize shifts to ensure appropriate staffing.
• Maintain work attendance records for payroll purposes.
• Organize training for Junior Staff.
• Allocate daily work orders and supervise progress.
• Share responsibility with CE for the supervision of outside contractors working in the hotel.
• Supervise the water treatment operation and monitor the tests.
• Record data on a daily or other periodical basis for control purposes.
• Supervise the established guidelines and systems to ensure the most efficient operation at the most economical cost.
• Prepare, with the Chief Engineer, the departmental budgets, and monitor progress to contain costs.
• Through other departments, attitude and appearance, promote a high level of interaction with the other departments and a high degree of guest satisfaction.
• Conduct daily rounds of the Hotel back of the house and public areas, checking every outlet for deficiencies and raising maintenance requests accordingly.
• Instruct and assist when necessary, the Plant Supervisor in the chemical testing of all water systems and advise on the proper remedial action.
• Provide advice to senior management on all aspects of maintenance support, environmental controls, and the operational efficiency of the property.
• Ensure the quality of all work completed by both employees and external contracted staff adheres to the standards of good engineering practice
• Approve the monthly shift system.
• Responsible for taking active leadership in managing and upholding the Fire, Life & Safety (FL&S) in the Hotel.
• Responsible for overseeing and managing Hotel FL&S function as follows:

 Fire Prevention Plan

 Fire Hazards Elimination

 F&LS Systems inspection, testing, and maintenance

 Fire Emergency Plan

 Audit and monitoring of the Emergency Response Team (ERT)

• Ensures that the Hotel FL&S systems comply with local and national fire safety codes and regulations and that corresponding Government permits and certificates are secured.
• Ensures that Hotel FL&S performance complies with the required Corporate Policies, Standards, and Procedures.
• Plans and implements FL&S systems inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM).
• Establishes Fire Prevention and Emergency Response & Evacuation procedures.
• Ensures that Fire Life & Safety training and drills are regularly and effectively implemented (Random Fire Drills/covering 3 shifts, Fire Simulation Drills and General Evacuation).

YÊU CẦU CÔNG VIỆC
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a 5-star hotel.
Have experience in FLS positions at 5-star hotels.
Sound knowledge in Building Services Engineering and Management.
Good Command in English
