About Us:
Dusit Le Palais Tu Hoa Hanoi is a modern luxury hotel located in the vibrant Tay Ho district, offering guests a unique culinary experience across several dining outlets. Our all-day dining (ADD) restaurant, Soi, showcases authentic Thai cuisine with a modern twist, where classic flavors meet contemporary flair. We aim to deliver exceptional culinary journeys that blend the traditional with the innovative.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Thai Chef de Cuisine / Sous Chef to lead the Thai kitchen at Soi. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in crafting and delivering authentic Thai dishes with a modern twist, maintaining high standards of culinary excellence. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will oversee all aspects of the Thai kitchen operations, from menu development to staff training and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Thai kitchen for lunch and dinner service at Soi, ensuring the delivery of authentic Thai cuisine infused with modern techniques and presentation.
Develop a dynamic, contemporary Thai menu that balances traditional flavors with innovative culinary approaches.
Ensure the highest levels of consistency and quality in food preparation, taste, and presentation.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other culinary teams to ensure smooth and cohesive kitchen operations across all outlets.
Maintain cost controls, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Lead, train, and inspire a team of chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and creative kitchen environment.
Engage with suppliers to source premium ingredients, staying up-to-date with trends in Thai cuisine and modern cooking techniques.
Respond to guest feedback and adjust offerings as needed to enhance the dining experience.

YÊU CẦU CÔNG VIỆC

• This position is open to both local candidates and expats in Vietnam under local packages.

Have a deep passion for authentic Thai cuisine and a flair for modern culinary innovation.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Thai kitchen, with at least 2 years in a leadership position (Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef).
Experience working in Vietnam or currently residing in Vietnam is preferred.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate kitchen staff.
Expertise in traditional Thai cooking techniques combined with a modern approach to plating and flavor innovation.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Strong organizational abilities, with experience managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
