POSITION OVERVIEW

The Compliance Strategy & Business Solutions Manager is a key position designed to bridge business strategy, operational excellence, and team development. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of AML Compliance and strong leadership experience to support our strategic growth in new markets, particularly in Vietnam. This role is positioned to be instrumental in driving both cultural alignment and operational efficiency while fostering the company’s long-term vision. The candidate should be adaptable, proactive, and demonstrate strong business acumen.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Service Delivery & Compliance Management

• Drive the alignment of compliance strategies with business objectives, ensuring all operations adhere to AML, CTF, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the development of training programs related to KYC, KYB, Transaction Monitoring, and PEP screening.
• Ensure the effectiveness of compliance-related processes and support cross-functional teams in executing complex service delivery solutions.
• Continuously assess and improve existing compliance frameworks to mitigate risks and maintain operational standards.

Culture Development & Operational Alignment

• Act as a culture champion, fostering a unified and high-performing team environment in newly expanded regions.
• Design and implement cultural integration programs to support the development of cohesive, engaged teams.
• Develop strategic initiatives to align operations with company culture and values, driving a high level of employee engagement and satisfaction.

Client Satisfaction & Account Management

• Serve as the strategic partner for clients on compliance and operational matters, ensuring their needs are met with the highest standards.
• Identify new business opportunities within existing client portfolios, creating strategies to drive additional value for both the client and the company.
• Manage escalations and resolve complex compliance-related client issues, maintaining a high Net Promoter Score (NPS).

People & Development Management

• Create and lead development programs for key personnel to build future leadership pipelines.
• Regularly coach and mentor direct reports, ensuring they are equipped to handle both day-to-day operations and strategic projects.
• Implement structured succession planning, identifying high-potential individuals to support the company’s future growth.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews of key team members, ensuring the right talent is in place to support expansion initiatives.

Product & Project Management

• Collaborate closely with product development teams to create innovative solutions in the AML and compliance space.
• Lead the integration of compliance tools and platforms, ensuring they meet both client and regulatory expectations.
• Assist in project scoping, resource allocation, and implementation, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outcomes.
• Contribute to the development of new services and products, bringing in insights from compliance and operational perspectives.

Strategic Planning & Business Development

• Play a critical role in shaping the company’s strategic direction in new markets, providing input based on regulatory expertise and operational requirements.
• Partner with senior leadership to define business strategies and translate them into actionable plans.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in compliance and operations during strategic business discussions and product planning.

Internal Compliance & Audit

• Ensure all operations adhere to internal and external audit requirements, implementing necessary corrective measures when required.
• Drive compliance culture across the organization, ensuring high standards of accuracy and reliability in data handling and reporting.
• Lead efforts to meet and exceed client expectations related to compliance, acting as the key point of contact for audit and compliance reviews.

Financial Management

• Support financial planning efforts by providing insights into compliance costs and operational expenses.
• Work closely with finance teams to ensure budgets are maintained and financial KPIs are met.
• Contribute to cost-efficiency initiatives, ensuring compliance processes are both effective and financially sustainable.

WHAT SHOULD YOU HAVE?

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or Compliance.
• Deep understanding of AML Compliance, CDD, KYB, KYC.
• 7+ years in AML/Compliance, 3+ years in leadership roles.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset, strategic thinker, strong leadership.

NICE TO HAVE

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Knowledge of cultural change management, Vietnamese market.
• Experience in managing cross-cultural teams.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, resilience, and the ability to handle complex and ambiguous situations.
