Customs Solutions Specialist (Tan Binh, HCMC)

- Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations and standards.
- Optimize customs pricing to achieve cost efficiency and competitive advantage.
- Provide excellent support and service to internal and external customers regarding customs pricing.
- Continuously improve processes and strategies to enhance overall business performance.
2/ Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement pricing strategies; develop and present solutions for various customs, domestic trucking and value-added services within Vietnam.
- Analyze market trends to ensure competitive pricing models.
- Manage internal tariff and work closely with internal related stakeholders
- Manage customer biddings, support customer inquiries related to pricing and provide solutions that meet their needs while maintaining profitability
- Identify potential suppliers that can meet the company’s service and quality requirements.
- Evaluate suppliers based on criteria such as cost, quality, reliability, and service
- Maintain accurate records of supplier contracts, negotiations, and performance evaluations
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure ongoing collaboration and support
- Address and resolve any issues or disputes that arise with suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance against agreed-upon metrics and standards
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of supplier performance and compliance
- Develop contingency plans to mitigate potential risks
- Participate/ Lead improvement projects
- Conduct thorough analysis of customs pricing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
2.b. Process:
- Together with pricing manager to develop and implement pricing strategies, supplier management strategies
2.c. People Management:
- Develop a team spirit & experience sharing
- Develop self-learning and regulation research
3/ Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Business Administration, Customs or Supply Chain Management

Minimum 5 years of experience managing customs, trucking
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures
- Relevant experience in pricing, logistics, supply chain management, customs operations, or a related field
- Experience working with transportation and logistics pricing models and strategies.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills for data analysis and cost modeling
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with supplier management and audits
- Strong presentation skills to introduce solutions to customers and related parties when needed (both English and Vietnamese)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), especially Microsoft Excel
- Compliance and open-minded mindset
