Job description

• Develop and implement data quality metrics and monitoring processes.
• Measure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data across the organization.
• Collaborate to establish a robust data ownership, data domain, data catalog and metadata management system, etc…
• Ensure data quality practices comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Identify data issue, facilitate meeting and resolve data quality issues with business (e.g., duplicates, inconsistencies, missing values) across multiple systems and databases.
• Oversee data integration and migration to maintain data quality during transition
• Provide training, coaching, and support to colleagues on data governance best practices, tools, and techniques.

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in data governance or similar role within the life insurance industry or other relevant financial services sector.
• Technical skills: strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and/or SAS for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify root causes of data quality issues and develop effective solutions
• Familiarity with data management tools such as Data360, Informatica, Databrick Unity Catalog, Azure Data Factory, or other relevant software packages.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication and interpersonal skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, along with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
• Compliance and data security: Understanding of regulations related to data security and privacy
