Note:
1. Experience in direct hotel procurement in Vietnam or Malaysia market; if the candidate have experience in both market is preferred;
2. high-end hotel resourcese is preferred;
3. Strong team management experience, having led a team of at least 5 people;
4. local Malaysia or Vietnam people is ok as long as fluent in English. Chinese language is preferred;
5. Homebased, no office.

Responsibilitie

• According to the business strategies, grow the business footprint within your country/region through new hotels acquisition and retention/growth of existing accounts, leading deal negotiations with key hotels and exceeding revenue goals.
• Lead, inspire, coach and develop teams to hit the country or region’s commercial KPIs
• Analyze the country/region’s market, create strategic plans, and align priorities with the management team
• Analyze and feedback on the availability and quality of data, which lead to recommendations for commercial improvements
• Develop and own relationships with key decision makers at hotels, technology partners and other local or regional partners
• Attend and participate in relevant industry or Convergent’s events.

Requirements

• More than 6 years of professional experience,highly preferred within hotel, travel, or hospitality industry (especially OTA or B2B channels)
• Proven strong leadership skills, team leader and team player is a must
• Experience leading complex and cross-functional projects; Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills. Able to identify opportunities and make decisions based on facts and data
• Excellent command of English language, both written and spoken
• Mandarin written and spoken skill will be advantage."
