Ninety Eight is looking for a highly motivated Senior Security Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Security Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security threats to protect the organization's information assets. This role involves conducting threat analysis, managing incident responses, performing vulnerability assessments, and ensuring compliance with security policies. The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of cybersecurity practices and technologies, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Threat and Vulnerability Management:
• Conduct regular threat assessments and vulnerability analyses.
• Implement and manage security measures to mitigate identified risks.
• Monitor network and application security to detect and respond to security breaches.
• Incident Response:
• Lead the incident response process, including identification, containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Conduct forensic analysis to determine the root cause of incidents.
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks.
• Security Monitoring and Analysis:
• Use security information and event management (SIEM) tools to monitor and analyze security events.
• Investigate security alerts and determine their relevance and urgency.
• Develop and implement use cases for detecting security incidents.
• Security Policy and Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal security policies (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
• Assist in the development and maintenance of security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct security audits and assessments to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Risk Management:
• Identify and assess security risks related to new projects and technologies.
• Provide recommendations to mitigate risks and enhance security controls.
• Participate in risk assessment and management processes.
• Security Awareness and Training:
• Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
• Promote a culture of security awareness within the organization.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate security into business processes.
• Communicate security risks and incidents to stakeholders, including executive management.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security analysts and other team members.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat analysis, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscape, and security technologies.
• Experience with XDR/EDR tools, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and forensic analysis tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
• Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.
