About the team

In Global Acquiring we strive to provide merchants with best-in-class card processing products around the globe. We are passionate about our work and take a client-first approach to everything we do. We are changing the payment landscape in LATAM and look for a talented Product Lead up to the task.

What you’ll own
  • As a Product Lead within the LATAM Acquiring team, you will manage strategic product planning function including planning and developing long-term goals and strategic objectives to ensure business growth and/or improve productivity and profitability.
  • Author and maintain a strategy for one or more LATAM countries from a product perspective and develop the value proposition for the country from the perspective of the customer, and work with internal stakeholders to define our right to win.
  • Programs manage all the initiatives within the country – i.e. checking all the projects related to one country, and meeting the roadmap timelines.
  • Owning the product roadmap for the country and acting as the voice of the customer and updating senior stakeholders should issues/trades off happen. Knowing where the projects are at.
  • Establishing strong businesses cases for the product strategy, collate the information, validate business case and work with wider product function to prioritize the initiatives.
  • Oversight of PI planning to maintain strong understanding of development timelines, potential trade-offs and any issues.
  • Attend and present at industry conferences, as well as at internal events, on trends impacting the country and Worldpay's value proposition therein. Working closer with the Business development and solutions consultants in region.
  • Collaborate with commercialization on our go-to-market plan to ensure we effectively target our marketing and partner cultivation efforts, including commercial collateral.
  • Coordinate and drive execution of strategic commercial initiatives to grow the revenue in country.
  • Support regional Business Development and Relationship Management teams on various ad-hoc tactical requests including participation in customer meetings, RFPs
  • Working with GTM including vertical strategy managers, commercialization and partnerships to align strategies and support revenue growth in the regions.
  • Develop a strong internal network amongst key stakeholders including Business Development, Relationship Management, Marketing, Partnerships, Product, Legal, Risk and Compliance.

What you bring
  • Thorough knowledge of products and services in assigned business operation(s)
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • In-depth payments industry and LATAM markets knowledge
  • Knowledge of banking practices, regulations and operations within assigned line(s) of business
  • General business skills, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision and executive presence
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, team and time management skills
    Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take
  • Ability to understand and focus on client’s needs, establish credibility and build positive, professional relationships with clients
  • Project management skills; ability to prioritize and complete tasks
  • Requires leadership and negotiation skills
