About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Surgical Services team as a Orthopaedic Surgery Registrar, where you will be responsible for:

• The Orthopaedic Registrar will contribute to the provision of clinical services to WCHN inpatients and outpatients under consultant supervision the Orthopaedic Registrar will demonstrate a commitment to clinical teaching and participate in associated research projects.
• The Registrar will be required to operate a Fluoroscope if licencing can be obtained.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
• Extensive clinical experience and competence in the practice of Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Minimum 4 years satisfactory experience as an Intern/Resident Medical Officer/Registrar in a recognised teaching hospital and some experience as an Advanced Trainee.
• Understanding of both the rights and responsibilities of patients and their families.
• Broad knowledge in the chosen field of orthopaedics
• The physical ability to meet position expectations and requirements
