We’re seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our growing team based in our Sydney CBD office. This is an exciting opportunity in a hybrid role with a minimum two days a week in office.
About the role
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for helping Zai grow its market share by doing your part to achieve our revenue goals. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for client retention and manage a portfolio of accounts in a 60/40 split Account Management / Sales function.
In the Account executive role, you will be responsible for upselling, and cross-selling to existing customers driving client engagement and predictable growth of accounts as well as generating net new business through networking and cold calling outreach.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of clients and Identify opportunities for cross-selling our suite of products to existing clients, increasing their engagement and revenue

Present Zai's game-changing product suite to C-Suite executives, translating complex features into clear value propositions they'll love..

Drive sales through outbound prospecting, using a multi-channel approach (think Linked In, calls, events) to identify and qualify high-potential clients and partners.

Use solution selling tactics and sharp questioning to identify customers' pain points and showcase how Zai solves them (both technical and non-technical audiences).

Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients, becoming their trusted advisor for all their domestic payment needs

Achieve and exceed ambitious targets by growing your customer portfolio and converting qualified leads into happy, paying customers.

Work like a well-oiled machine with our sales engineering, product, and marketing teams to discover and unlock new growth opportunities.

Expand your influence by attending industry events, conferences, and meetups, and building relationships with key players and influencers.

Utilise a multi-pronged approach like social media, calls, email outreach, and industry events to uncover hidden gems (potential clients).

Create an executive strategic Account plan for all of your managed customers to ensure predictable and repeatable growth
Skills and Experience
-
Bring at least five years of experience as an Account Manager with Business Development experience with a minimum of two years conquering the exciting world of Fintech or Payments in Australia

You have previous experience working in a Hybrid Account Management / Sales role

Building high-level relationships and creating a lasting impact on our business through client success is your passion.

A proven track record of achieving individual Portfolio growth targets and new revenue targets

Experience thriving in a fast-paced environment, and building strong relationships with clients in a rapidly growing organisation is your middle name.

You're a whiz at Salesforce tools, keeping your Accounts up to date and your sales pipeline organised and optimised for maximum impact.

You're a master communicator, delivering compelling presentations that captivate your audience.

You possess a strong technical understanding of Payments technology (APIs, Reference Documentation, Payment flows, and Diagrams).

Domestic and interstate travel will be part of this exciting role.
