Allied Health Team Leader

Permanent full time opportunity to be responsible for the efficient leadership and management of the multidisciplinary team within the Healthy Ageing Assessment and Rehabilitation Team. The role manages the day to day operational requirements of the team including rostering and leave management, budget and finance, recruitment and demand management. The role is also responsible for the clinical governance of the team including adherence to safety and quality standards and service improvement initiatives.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Apply a specialist level of knowledge, clinical skills, problem solving skills and experience of complex clinical practice standards to lead the provision of clinical services within the Healthy Ageing Assessment and Rehabilitation Team.
- Provide advanced level clinical advice to relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding clinical service delivery and development.
- Operationally manage human, financial and material resources for the teams including staff recruitment, rostering and allocation of budget and resources.
- Provide leadership and direction to the multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high quality services and to foster a culture of evidence based practice, continuous quality improvement and effective risk management in line with the appropriate National Safety and Quality Healthcare Standards (including National Disability Insurance Scheme Practice Standards and Aged Care Standards) within the services and as a representative of the rehabilitation service.
