Join Our Team as an Assistant Human Resources Consultant at Limestone Coast Local Health Network!
As an integral member of our People and Culture team, you'll report directly to the Director, providing timely and high-quality HR advice and consultancy to a designated site. In this dynamic role, you'll tackle a range of operational human resource and administrative procedures, making a real impact on our organization.
You'll assist in delivering advisory services on various HR matters, working on engaging project initiatives within clearly defined guidelines. Your efficiency will help maintain effective work practices and ensure the seamless provision of HR resources across the organization.
In this role, you'll support managers in key areas such as recruitment and selection, classification management, industrial relations, training and development, HR governance and compliance, organizational development, OHSW, and redeployment. You'll also identify and research issues, escalating more complex matters to the Senior HR Consultant.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely HR advice to managers and staff on employment conditions, policies, and SA Public Sector guidelines.
- Manage HR databases and ensure accurate information on recruitment, performance management, and disciplinary matters.
- Assist with research and analysis for HR reports and recommendations.
- Build collaborative partnerships with businesses and stakeholders.
- Contribute to policy development and participate in projects like restructuring and recruitment.
- Facilitate training and development for staff.
- Monitor compliance with Delegations of Authority and prepare necessary paperwork.
- Develop and track HR Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting requirements.
- Preparing reports on HR information for clients.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date information on the intranet.
- Training HR administrative staff and implementing best practices.
- Preparing compliance documents and managing HR data and statistics.
- Liaising with department managers on HRMS matters and maintaining employee records.
- Experience in advisory and operational HR services in a diverse environment, with skills in research, analysis, and report preparation.
- Understanding of contemporary HR practices and procedures within the SA Public Sector, including awards, guidelines, EB Agreements, OHS&W, EEO, and performance management processes.
