About the role
An exciting opportunity has become available to join the change at AGL. As a Business Analyst, you will be undertaking analysis for the projects led by the Transformation & Best Practice (TBP) team, major in Telco and energy business, to seek, develop, and help implement strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity within AGL’s Contact Centres. You will also be working with other stakeholders to facilitate business change initiatives.
Reporting to the Transition Manager, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our operations. Working in the TBP team, you’ll closely work with the Telco operational analyst from Telco Technology & Telco Product Operations team and the wider Customer Service team through the development and implementation of projects that align with our strategic objectives of Simplify, Excel, and Evolve and ensure the successful implementation by closely monitoring the performance and ensuring the achievement of expected outcomes.
What you’ll be doing:

You’ll be analysing and undertaking in-depth investigations to help define Telco business problems by gathering technical and non-technical information.

Preparing and maintaining data validation, data analysis, and data visualisation tasks using analytical tools.

Conducting research and analysis to identify new opportunities, evaluate potential impacts and shape these opportunities to execution with the aim to contribute to the long-term value of the business.

Performing an end-to-end impact analysis of pre-change implementation and perform post implementation reviews of key initiatives.

Use a range of systems and databases to gather information and provide valuable insights.
What you’ll bring:

Proven analytical abilities: Experience in Telco Business environment preferable.

Written and verbal communication: The ability to prepare and present on initiatives.

Problem solving skills and ability to define a problem and come up with potential solutions

Critical thinking – Will need to provide solutions in line with business strategy.

Strong organizational skills- Will need to be able to manage multiple initiatives and documentation of discussions.
