Role Overview:
As a Butcher and Brazilian Meat Expert, you will be responsible for preparing, cutting, and packaging a variety of meats, with a special focus on Brazilian meat cuts such as Picanha, Fraldinha, and Coração. Your expertise will help us deliver unique, authentic flavors and quality that set us apart. You will also ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and freshness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertly cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat, with a focus on Brazilian cuts and specialties.
- Operate and maintain meat processing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all meat products are handled, stored, and displayed in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service, including offering cooking tips and recommendations for Brazilian-style dishes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Proven experience as a butcher with a strong background in Brazilian meat cuts and techniques.
- Deep knowledge of Brazilian meat specialties such as Picanha, Fraldinha, and Coração, as well as traditional preparation methods.
- Ability to operate and maintain butchery equipment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of quality.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy items.
