- Classification - AHP1 - Allied Health Professional L1 - $68,478 to $83,594
- Full time - Term Contract (12-month contract) - Multiple positions available
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the CAMHS team as a Clinician, where you will be responsible for:
- Provide clinical expertise for children, adolescents, and their families with mental health issues.
- Deliver direct expert care to individual clients or groups and provide clinical leadership to multidisciplinary staff.
- Provide specialist child and adolescent mental health care to consumers with complex needs.
- Ensure optimal consumer care by delivering assessments, education, counselling, and group work aimed at achieving optimum consumer health and recovery.
- Engage in consultation and liaison with other professional disciplines and non-governmental organisations.
- Use expert clinical knowledge to provide direction, support, orientation, and education to other staff members.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work with other professionals as a team member
- Demonstrated commitment to the development of personal and professional skills
- Knowledge of a variety of assessment and intervention models for working with children, adolescents and families
- The ability to work with a high degree of responsibility
- Salary package a range of benefits (including living expenses such as mortgage, rent, utility bills and groceries) up to $9,010 each FBT year + $2,650 for Meal Entertainment expenses each FBT year.
