The African Reef, a cherished resort with a iconic past, is undergoing a spectacular transformation. Located on the beach in Gerladton WA, this iconic destination is being rebranded and will re-launch in early 2025. As part of this exciting journey, we are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Live-In Caretakers to help us manage our caravan park and contribute to the revitalisation of our resort.
Position: Live-In Caretakers (Couple Preferred)
Location: African Reef Resort, Tarcoola Beach, WA 6530
Job Type: Full-time, Live-In
What You’ll Do:

• Maintain Grounds: Oversee the upkeep of the caravan park, ensuring that the grounds are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
• Guest Assistance: Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing their needs and ensuring a pleasant stay.
• General Repairs: Handle minor repairs and maintenance tasks around the park, including fixing leaks, ensuring facilities are in working order, and addressing any immediate issues.
• Administrative Duties: Assist with administrative tasks related to bookings, guest check-ins, and check-outs as needed.
• Emergency Response: Be on-call to respond to any emergencies or urgent maintenance issues that may arise.

What You’ll Bring:

• Team Effort: Ideal for a couple who can work together to manage various aspects of park care and maintenance.
• Hands-On Skills: Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks. Previous experience in similar roles is a plus.
• Customer Service: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional service to guests.
• Positive Attitude: A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to tackle challenges and work as part of a team.
• Physical Fitness: Good physical fitness to handle the demands of the role and work effectively in an outdoor environment.

Pay: $24.89 – $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 38 per week

• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekend availability
