-Bonus payment of $1,750 at 6 months another $1,750 at 12 months and an additional $750 at 18 months *

Our child care centre in Earlwood has a position for a full-time child care trainee.
We are currently looking for a passionate, highly motivated individual who is willing to learn and develop high level skills in children's care and education.
The successful candidate will be willing to complete their Certificate III in Children’s Services through our nominated training organisation.
Requirements include:

• Professional and friendly attitude
• Team player
• Genuine interest in working with children
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and staff
• High work ethic and quick to learn
• Well presented
• Ability to multi-task
• Great written and oral communication skills are mandatory
• Current Working with Children Check
• Meet NSW traineeship eligibility requirements
• Ability to study to complete course requirements
• Must be available to work up to 38 hours per week Mon-Fri (4-5 days)
• Candidates who live locally are preferred

Position Duties:

• Preparing experiences for children
• Assisting in activities with children
• Assisting with physical care including nappy change
• Supervising and caring for children
• Assist with the serving of food
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Complying with the regulations and legislative requirements as well as industrial standards.
