  CCW2.5 $32.61 per hour +25% loading
  CSP1 $33.10 per hour +25% loading

TAFE SA are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Childcare Workers for the following roles in our Childcare Educator Casual Pool.

• Casual Childcare Worker Level 2
• Casual Childcare Worker Level 2.5
• Casual Children Services Professional Level 1

To be successful you will need:

• Qualifications for Childcare Worker Level 2
  • Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification recognised by licensing authorities.

• Qualifications for Childcare Worker Level 2.5 and Children’s Services Professional Level 1
  • Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent qualification recognised by licensing authorities.

• Current Responding to Risks or Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care training certification required.
• Current First Aid certification required.
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively within a team environment.
• A clear knowledge and understanding of issues and practices relating to childcare.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).

• Some out of hours work or inter/intrastate travel may be required.

• Eligible to work in Australia

• It is an ongoing condition of employment for all employees whose employment is subject to a Health Direction/site requirements, including but not limited to an Emergency Health Direction, that they are fully compliant with the requirements of the relevant Directions in order to perform their duties. This will also include but not be limited to: COVID 19
