- Salary $84,870.00 - $107,279.00 RN/M2C (Pro Rata) | Fulltime– Ongoing/ Permanent
As a Clinical Nurse in the MTC ECT Services unit, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT).
About the role:
As the Neurostimulation (ECT) Clinical Nurse, you will play a pivotal role within Margaret Tobin Centre. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing clinical nursing expertise for clients undergoing ECT treatment.
- Offering direct expert nursing care to individual clients.
- Providing clinical leadership to fellow nurses.
- Advising the multidisciplinary team on nursing-related matters.
- Registered as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds a current practicing certificate. Must be enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice.
- Demonstrated skill in mental health specific education issues.
- Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving conflict resolution and negotiation.
