We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Communications professional to join our Marketing team as a Corporate Communications Lead. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this is a permanent, full-time position, with the flexibility to be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane for the right person.

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Communications professional to join our Marketing team as a Corporate Communications Lead. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this is a permanent, full-time position, with the flexibility to be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane for the right person.
The Communications Lead will oversee the development and execution of a strategic communications plan that aligns with our brand vision, promotes multi-channel engagement, and ensures consistency of message both externally and internally. This role is pivotal for our internal program of transformation and will be required to work hand in glove with the Enterprise Project Management Office and Change Management teams as well as with senior leadership and senior stakeholders across the business.

What will your typical week look like?
- Lead the development and implementation of sophisticated communications strategies that resonate with both internal and external stakeholders, aligning closely with Findex's overarching goals
- Design and maintain an internal communications framework that ensures all employees are well-informed, engaged, and aligned with Findex's mission and values
- Serve as the primary liaison for Findex’s Media Relations agency and work closely with the team to deliver proactive and reactive media strategies
- Develop and execute crisis management protocols and corporate communication strategies and responses, ensuring timely and clear communication during sensitive situations Mentor and lead a small team of communications professionals, fostering growth and excellence within the department

The successful candidate will possess the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Extensive experience in a similar leadership position across internal and external communications
- Ability to craft engaging communications, segmented by personas and needs across a variety of different channels
- Experience working across a variety of communication channels and audience types
- Experience with large scale transformation programs and partnering with Change Management teams
- Experience with intranet and employee engagement platforms Experience working in media relations and a keen understanding of leveraging strategic relationships
