The purpose of this role is to provide legal expertise by providing key stakeholders with high value strategic advice, and to support and enhance Vocus’ competitive advantage, business success and market value.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting and negotiating standard and bespoke contracts
• Advising on marketing, consumer law issues and telecommunications laws and regulations
• Managing litigation and advising on customer, supplier, regulator and third party claims
• Monitoring changes and developments in the legal and regulatory environment
• Improving legal operations, developing templates and tools used by the legal team

Skills:

• Outstanding commitment to customer service and internal & external customer experience
• 2-4 years’ experience in the legal industry (preferably with experience working in-house)
• Ability to strategically apply legal knowledge to protect and enhance commercial interests of Vocus
• Results oriented, with a positive and client focused attitude
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
