About the Role:
Darling Downs South West is looking for a passionate and dedicated Corporate Services Officer to support our team. Reporting to the Director, Norfolk Island Service Delivery, this temporary role includes a diverse and interesting range of tasks as outlined in the role description. Whilst the team is small, the opportunities for connection are broad.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

• Provide support with the delivery of financial activities, including procurement, purchasing, grants allocation and budget expenditure.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of regional priorities and initiatives that support the streams of work within the business unit.
• Coordinate, administer and support communication activities associated with regional priorities and initiatives.
• Manage the preparation and dissemination of reports, spreadsheets, presentations, planning documentation and correspondence

Highly desirable skills and experience;
The successful applicant will have good administrative, HR and financial skills and will be a skilled communicator as this role works across the region and into Central Office. A positive disposition and a can do attitude will be indispensable. The successful applicant will have attention to detail, good systems to managing a broad range of tasks and an outcome focused approach. This is a relatively new team so an ability to negotiate with others to develop shared ways of working is an asset.
