QBuild is a commercialised business unit of the Queensland Government. It has been Queensland Government's builder for over 160 years, playing an important role in communities across the state by building and maintaining government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities.
About the role
You will play a pivotal role in supporting QBuild's ambition to strengthen Queensland's building and construction industry by developing and supporting a range of business improvement initiatives for QBuild.

Duties and skills involved:

Providing operational advice on application enhancements and issues, using experience and knowledge of business processes and applications to influence business decisions.· Interpreting business and user requirements and make recommendations on the application of the information systems solution to optimise local and enterprise-wide business outputs.· Facilitating change through the provision of effective, clear and concise communications to clients to ensure that expectations of system alterations and changes to business processes are met.· Reviewing all documentation relating to system changes and ensure that it contains necessary requirements, specifications and information to facilitate the effective and efficient modification of system applications including the testing and deployment of application configuration changes.· Maintaining, developing and enhancing business knowledge, its future directions and operational concerns and improve upon current skills and abilities in the area of business analysis, specification development and associated practices.· Work as part of a team to create and maintain learning standards that promote quality learning interventions and services. Preferred skills and experience:

Demonstrated analytical capability to develop, present and maintain significant informed analysis from large and complex data sets utilising a variety of tools and business systems (e.g. ERP systems, data visualisation software, Microsoft Excel etc.).
