What’s the role?
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to join the well-established maintenance team based in the Bowen Basin. This position will be responsible for supervising all operations & a team of tradespeople within a fixed plant.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:

A mechanical trade qualification
Senior supervisor training certifications (S1, S2, S3 & G2)
Prior experience working in a supervisory or leadership role within the mining & heavy transport industry
Strong knowledge of systems, equipment, and controls commonly used in fixed plant operations
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve results
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for maintenance planning, scheduling, and documentation
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a fixed plant environment, with a commitment to creating a safe work environment
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
Ability to pass Coal Board Medical
Ability to obtain a Standard 11 Induction Certificate
