About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as a Data Insights & Reporting Analyst working under the supervision of the Data Insights & Reporting Lead to support the various business departments across the Food pillar to deliver insights that are data-driven and support the business with strategic decisions by applying strong reporting and dashboard development skills with Power BI,

In this Role

• Engage with senior stakeholders across the business to qualify, prioritise and deliver request for reports, dashboards and insights that support strategic operations.
• Design, develop and optimize an dashboards and reports (Power Query, DAX and Power BI Service).
• Custom data extraction from Microsoft Azure, analyze internal data sources and ensure data integrity.
• Leveraging strong technical skills in programming languages to develop and automate comprehensive data sets ready for analytical output.
• Utilise strong reporting and dashboard development skills with Power BI to develop and automate engaging and visually appealing insights.

You’re Likely a Match If

• Experience in stakeholder engagement with ability to cultivate, grow and maintain relationships across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience and ability to be accountable for the data produced, coupled with strong data modelling and commercial acumen.
• Experience in UI visual design, design principles and data storytelling.
• Experience working with large data sets and complex data models.
• Proficient ability to extract data from various database technologies e.g. Azure & AWS Redshift etc.
