About the Opportunity

We have multiple shift options available – 5:00 am – 1:00 pm OR 8:00 am – 4:00pm.

In this Role

• Lead the shift to ensure all warehouse operations like pick-pack, receipt, dispatch, and planning are executed on-time and in-full, adhering to Metcash’s values and procedures.
• Create a positive team culture by providing guidance, training, and feedback to staff, ensuring they feel supported and motivated.
• Champion safety in the workplace, ensuring all OHS guidelines are followed and any incidents are reported and addressed promptly.
• Lead change by identifying areas of improvement, driving efficiency, and contributing to a culture of growth and engagement.
• Coordinate daily staffing and operational needs, making sure we have the right team in place to meet our business demands while maintaining a balanced work environment.
• Monitor and control warehouse costs, ensuring we operate efficiently and within budget.

You’re Likely a Match If

• Experience in FMCG operations and a proven track record of leading teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on collaborative solutions.
• Knowledge of OHS and HACCP regulations, with a commitment to workplace safety.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with automated warehousing systems (desirable).
