The Opportunity
Our Drill & Blast Crew at Olive Downs is expanding - we are seeking experienced Shotfirers, MPU & Stemming Operators, Bench Hands & Driller Offsiders to join Thiess projects in the Bowen Basin.
About The Roles
Working 7/7 12 hr shifts with varying day/night requirements and reporting through to the Drill & Blast Supervisors you will be responsible for the day to day functions of the relevant position.

To be successful in this role you will bring:

• A Valid QLD Shotfirer Licence and/or explosives clearance and Drivers’ Licence
• Current Standard 11
• Experience in your chosen field and the use of electronic initiation systems
• Demonstrated compliance with safety and a good knowledge of explosive regulations
• Operational experience in Mobile Processing Units/Stemming/Shotfirer and/or Bench Crew & Drills
• Ability to operate a loader, bobcat and stemming truck is desirable
