Position Summary:

• Be part of integrated client’s QA Management team, plan tasks with client QA delivery and ensure the completion of the same on time.
• Prepare for regular connects with client stakeholders, prepare team for monthly and quarterly governance calls and run these calls successfully with clients on regular basis.
• Discuss with different client stakeholders and identify new opportunities to grow and excel from client perspective continuously.
• Ensure on time quality delivery and no escalations on delivery, address any urgent escalations on time.
• Submit, review and get on time approvals on regular activities like invoicing, SOWs, new hardware / software installations.
• Discuss and suggest best practices, identify transformation opportunities and areas of improvements to client and get approvals to implement them on regular basis.
• Have regular connect with team – ONSITE and OFFSHORE to ensure team is aware of common goals and objectives for quality delivery.
• Contribute to new proposals, contract renewals with client.
• Resource level issues identifications, address them on time.
• Forecast ramp ups, back fill options, opportunities for skill retention within teams.

Mandatory Skills:

• Overall 17+ years of experience with more than 7 + years of experience in Test delivery management across different clients.
• Handled technical upgrade and migrations from legacy to COTS products implementations like Siebel to SFDC which requires analysis and strategy preparations.
• Experience in leading transformation initiatives like Mobile – Web Automation in Appium and See test, Automation exposure in TOSCA, Selenium to identify opportunities to transform in the current application landscape.
• Ability to support client across different time zones including India and Australia, by ramping up shift team and operating successfully to enable delivery across co-locations successfully.
• Exposure into Retail POS testing landscape, different hardware and Windows POS software, working with different development vendors to enable a seamless delivery.
• Exposure to operations and invoicing process, getting accurate forecasts, on time approvals.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall Quality Engineering delivery across managed services contract and other on-going testing contracts.
• Single point of contact for client stakeholders to provide regular updates on Contract level SLA and KPI commitments.
• Responsible to ensure quality in all phases of testing committed from System testing, System Integration testing to Pre-prod testing.
• Evaluate and determine the Root cause analysis of the production issues and identify any improvements in quality of testing.
• Responsible to ensure on time invoicing, contract renewals, contractual commitments with client.
• Lead the monthly and quarterly governance calls with client stakeholders giving them the glimpse on delivery highlights, achievements, value adds and to get feedback on improvement areas.
• Negotiate with client on the periodic feedback, improvements, implementation of new tools and technologies for transforming the current landscape of applications.
• Responsible for ramp ups of new opportunities coming up from client side and providing periodic updates on ramp downs and backfills to ensure no impact to delivery
• Review and sign off on QA deliverables from Cognizant to client.
