Rondo Building Services, located in Erskine Park, is a highly focused business involved in the manufacturing and supply of a wide range of light gauge rolled formed steel products and systems, primarily for the construction industry in Australia, New Zealand, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
As part of this apprenticeship you will complete a nationally recognised trade qualification – Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical (Fitting/ Machining) Trade
Some of the duties will include:
- Trouble shoot, identify faults and rectify issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Fabrication, machining, fitting and assembly work.
- Complete repairs in a safe and efficient manner within set time-frames.
- Engage in making, fitting or repairing mechanical equipment for optimum conditions and for intended use.
- General workshop and maintenance duties.
- be mechanically minded.
- have the ability to work with your hands.
- have great communication skills.
- possess a can-do attitude.
- have good problem-solving skills.
- well organised, reliable and flexible.
- like working within a team and co-operate with others.
- be able to understand and follow workplace WHS requirements.
- hold a current driver’s licence and have own vehicle.
- You could be eligible for up to $5000 in Government subsidies.
- Eligible apprentices have access to interest-free loans totalling up to $21,000.
- Access to our free, confidential counselling services.
- Weekly pay.
- Four weeks PAID holiday leave each year.
- A dedicated mentor to support you through your entire apprenticeship.
Job Type: Apprenticeship
Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
