Facilities Coordinator

The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Assets and Facilities Management and supporting the wider team you will be heavily involved in establishing a framework for Facilities management across our extensive asset portfolio. You will work in partnership with both internal and external stakeholders as you manage the coordination of all maintenance activities. This is a role where your drive and proactive approach will see you develop your facilities management and develop management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilities management/maintenance coordination : Developing a framework for and ongoing processing of work orders.
- Asset management: Play a key role n developing and maintaining the Asset Register.
- Safety and Compliance: Maintain safety standards, environmental regulations and conduct regular locations safety inspections.
- Space Management : Assist in planning and coordinating location moves, space utilisation and any required reconfiguration
- Vendor Management: manage relationships with external vendors, contractors and suppliers.

Budgeting and Cost Control : Assist in the preparation and management of the overall Asset & Facilities budget and monitoring ongoing expenses.
What You Bring:
- 2-3 years of experience in facilities management or a related support service field
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, including problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven client and stakeholder management orientation and ability to implement and manage client focused service delivery
- Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facilities management software.
- Demonstrated creativity in the development of innovative solutions required within a complex environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
