About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join Paediatric Medicine as a Grant Funded Scientist – Research Assistant, where you will be responsible for:

• Coordinating research studies for the Rheumatology Department
• Developing, coordinating, and/or executing clinical research-related procedures

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• B.Sc. or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to maintain both integrity and confidentiality in dealing with issues of a sensitive nature.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, to a wide range of people on a range of sensitive and complex issues.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a small team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and under consultant direction to meet deadlines and achieve agreed outputs whilst working with demanding and sometimes competing priorities
• Evidence of conducting research according to International Conference on Harmonisation – Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP) standards.
