Your Role:As the Manager, you will:

• Lead the provision of high-quality grant management support functions for the Division, including business systems administration, contract management and administration, financial management, records management, review and implementation of policies, procedures and reporting.
• Provide authoritative and professional advice, analysis and guidance to senior management in relation to effective grants and contract management, financial management, funding and budget management.

The Manager reports to the Director of the work unit.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing a multi-functional team to support the delivery of early childhood programs and initiatives through the provision of grants and contract management, business systems administration, records management, financial management, reporting and other support, ensuring a culture of accountability and high-quality client service.
• Leading the development and implementation of grants management support structures and business systems improvements to address gaps and needs and enhance existing service delivery in the early childhood sector.
• Managing the implementation, review and ongoing utilisation of grants and contract management processes and systems, ensuring compliance with Government and departmental requirements and robust processes with appropriate internal controls and checks.
• Leading, developing, implementing and reviewing core systems and procedures to ensure best practice processes are compliant with Government and departmental requirements.
• Building and managing positive working relationships with peers, senior management, other teams, regional staff and stakeholders to ensure grants management outcomes support the strategic direction of the Division and Department.
