What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Resource and Industrial business unit requires an experienced HC driver to be based at the Carrington Terminal - Newcastle, NSW. You will be required to safely deliver fuel to our customers within Newcastle, Upper Hunter, Central Coast and Sydney regions. This is a permanent full time position working a 13 shift roster pattern Mon-Sun, rotating between an early morning shift and afternoon shift. Key areas:

Driving the commitment to Linfox Safety Standards at all times
Ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
Complying with the Linfox coupling & uncoupling procedures
Providing excellent customer service and representing Linfox in a professional manner
Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation

Current and valid HC or MC Licence
A current Dangerous Goods (DG) licence - Preferred but not essential
Current terminal inductions are highly regarded
Commitment to manage fatigue and an understanding of shift work
Knowledge of basic manual handling procedures
Strong work ethic, customer service and communication skills
