The HDR Admissions Specialist is responsible for managing administrative tasks related to research applications, offers, and enrolments. This role involves providing guidance to staff and research students on regulations and procedures. Reporting directly to the Team Leader, HDR Admissions and Scholarships, the Specialist performs a variety of administrative functions to ensure that all aspects of research admissions are managed efficiently and effectively.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

• A sound knowledge of the Australian tertiary education context, particularly in relation to postgraduate research education and research administration
• Demonstrated knowledge of the operations of a tertiary institution, including organisational structures, governance and committee functions, policies and procedures
• Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and applying policies and procedures to ensure compliance with University and research administration requirements
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate future requirements and to analyse problems and identify solutions which might require rethinking and adaptation of policies and procedures as part of a continuous process improvement

Qualifications
A degree with subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
