School House is working in partnership with a not-for-profit creative writing centre for young people in under-resourced communities across Sydney and NSW. The organisation builds writing skills, confidence and creativity through specially created writing programs delivered by experienced and passionate educators.
Role Highlights

Head of Programs - Writing/Literacy

Leadership position within a non-for-profit education specific organisation

Successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic direction of all the organisations programs, which are delivered to Stage 1-6 students across Sydney

Full Time, Permanent Position

Negotiable start date, ideally before February 2025

Office based role in Sydney across two branches, both nearby to each other

Requirements
-
Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor of Education, etc.)

Current NESA Accreditation** and WWCC (or eligibility to gain)

Appropriate qualifications and experience teaching subjects outlined above

Excellent communication skills
-
Motivation and a passion to work with and support young people on their journey through secondary education
-
Enthusiasm and flexibility with the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
-
Ability and desire to actively support the values and ethos of a Catholic school
