About the role
Permanent full time opportunity to provide local system administrator support across the portfolio of applications under governance of Health Information Services (HIS) at STARS. The Health Informatics System Administrator will manage and maintain data quality, data audits and data monitoring of the Quick Flow(Q-Flow) application, or equivalent patient flow system, to support high quality and safe care within Metro North.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Provide high level technical expertise, local system configuration and business rules to provide administrator support to the end users of QFlow, as well as other HIS governed systems.
• Apply knowledge of system functionality to drive improvement in data integrity, quality assurance, and system stability.
• Design and develop fit-for-purpose reporting in compliance with local, Metro North Health and corporate specifications.
• Lead business practice improvement as required to address data quality and patient flow concerns in compliance with standards and legislation.
• Participate in testing of release, upgrades, defects in collaboration with stakeholders as the subject matter expert of HIS governed systems.
