YHA Cape Byron, featuring 117 beds across 29 rooms, offers inviting common areas surrounding a spacious, heated pool and BBQ zone, perfect for socializing and enjoying your stay. With surfboards and boogie boards for hire, you can easily explore the beaches. Ideally located in the town centre, this hostel is just 200 meters from the beach and cycling paths, and directly opposite the Jarjumirr Skate Park.

About the role:

YHA Cape Byron is looking for a part-time Housekeeper to join their team. Responsibilities include upkeep of communal areas, bathrooms, and guest rooms, managing inventory, and maintaining the pristine condition of both the Cape and Byron properties.

The role entails housekeeping duties for both properties YHA CAPE Byron and Bryon Bay.

What are we looking for:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning
• Willingness to take direction from others
• Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Flexible availability 24/7 roster including night shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Excellent communication skills verbal and written
