Role Details:
Routes: Servicing the North/East Metro areas of Melbourne
Locations: Coolaroo Depot VIC
Hours: AM shift

What you'll do:

Running Heavy Rigid combinations.
Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
Availability for 7 days a week, but will only work for 5 days.
Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
Local collections in a Rear Loader truck.

What You Will Bring:

A valid HR Licence with minimum of 2 years’ recent Australian driving experience.
Experience with tautliners, flatbeds, retractable or container trailers.
Sound knowledge of the local areas of Melbourne.
Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
