We believe materials are not recycled until they’ve been made into new products. We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper, cardboard, glass, plastics and metals from households and businesses, and locally remanufacture them back into new, sustainable packaging. From cardboard boxes, water bottles and jam jars to food and beverage cans, we are using recycled content to power Australia and New Zealand’s food and beverage packaging industry.
Role Details:
Ready to make a difference? Visy Board is seeking a dynamic Administration Assistant to support our multi-site operations. In this role, you’ll be the cornerstone of our Queensland Operations, ensuring accurate and timely payroll reporting and forecasting on a daily and monthly basis. Your skills will help keep our team running smoothly and efficiently.
This position reports to the Finance / Administration Manager, QLD and based at our Carole Park plant.
What you'll do:
- Provide payroll exception and daily reporting/forecasting.
- Review payroll exception reports for Queensland depots.
- Understand and stay updated on Enterprise Agreements and Australian Workplace Agreements.
- Manage swipe card systems and processes.
- Keep personnel files and training records.
- Process purchase orders and invoices.
- Improve and automate administration processes.
- Perform ad hoc duties for Management and Safety teams.
- Collate and report safety data.
- Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies.
What You Will Bring:
- Experience in payroll and administration.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Agreements and Australian Workplace Agreements.
- Proficiency in SAP and Kronos systems an advantage.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
