Full-Time Permanent Opportunity

Our Enterprise Technology Services, End User Computing team is responsible for all physical and virtual computing devices and the full end to end management of those devices.

The team ensures all aspects of technology and systems are operating in line with business requirements for a smoother user experience. The team work on the phone, laptop and PC devices utilised by our employees to access the GFS networks and associated applications. The team work closely with the Operations, Infrastructure and Security teams of ETS along with other change delivery teams across the wider technology landscape.

The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for providing support to all teams in the business around everything related to its infrastructure which encompasses a mix of day-to-day duties and project work. You will be a key subject matter expert in all things Infrastructure and assist in providing sound Infrastructure and Dev Sec Ops foundations to the team with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

What are we looking for?

Experience in public cloud experience (AWS and Azure)
Strong experience in Windows systems administration (traditional services such as Active Directory and cloud services such as O365, Entra ID and Intune are essential)
Knowledge of virtual desktop technologies (AWS Workspaces (essential) and Azure Virtual Desktop)
Knowledge of Dev Ops methodology and its tools (Puppet, GIT, Azure Dev Ops and Octopus Deploy)
Strong Security knowledge (Firewalls, AV, IDS/IPS, DLP etc.)
Strong all-round networking experience
Strong attention to detail paired with solid written and oral communication skills
Experience with Change Management

Desirable

Experience with the following technologies Datadog, Okta, Splunk, Mimecast, Windows Defender and Rapid7
