Are you detail-oriented, dedicated, and passionate about patient care? Gold Coast Private Hospital is looking for a skilled Instrument Technician to join our dynamic team in our Day Surgery Unit.

Established in 2016, Gold Coast Private Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 340-bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport.
With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.

Key Responsibilities:

Scope Cleaning & Maintenance: Expertly clean, sterilize, and maintain endoscopic instruments to ensure the highest standards of safety and hygiene.

Perform rigorous checks and tests on all equipment to guarantee functionality and readiness for procedures.

Work closely with medical staff to support efficient, seamless surgical operations.

Maintain accurate records of equipment sterilization, repairs, and inventory.

Essential Criteria:

Have completed or working towards ceritifcation in sterilization.

Be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Work to to tight deadlines.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team

Responsible to work autonomously as required.
