As our newest Junior Accountant, you will be looking after the financial health of our business while also providing support to travel advisors in our luxury brand, Travel Associates. You will need to have a disciplined financial control mindset, diligent work ethic and be a proactive communicator.

What you'll be doing:

• Protect our business by monitoring, reviewing and reporting risks such as, outstanding cash, audit ledgers, debit ledgers and unreconciled transactions
• Working with business leaders and travel advisors to reduce risks and maintain financial health
• Complete EOM processes including transfer, reviews and P&L analysis
• Respond to finance related queries from front end operations
• Manage supplier payments and expense claims whilst overseeing office budgets
• Constantly look to improve efficiencies within finance workflow processes
• Training and development for operational staff on finance related topics and expectations
• Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant accounting standards and FCL minimum standards for financial systems and processes

Who you are:

• High degree of flexibility and ability
• Completing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or similar or studying towards
• Interpersonal and communication skills with ability to develop relationships at all levels
• Strong work ethic and time management
