Kennel and Cattery Assistant

Position offered is for a kennel assistant. This requires handling of all breeds of dogs and cats. It requires you to be comfortable handling/bathing/brushing and feeding dogs and cats. The job also involves the daily cleaning of the kennels and cattery. This position requires you to have good customer service and people skills as you will also be dealing with the customers. Basic office/computer skills is also required. We have a kennel booking program you will be trained to use and will be required to answer the phone and reply to emails.
A strong compassion for animals and their needs is a must. This position is a split shift being a morning and afternoon shift that you will be required to work both on your rostered days. Therefore living close to our resort is greatly beneficial. Our busiest times are school holidays/ Christmas and New year and long weekends. You will be required to work over these busy periods and take time off outside of these times.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
