About the role
We have an opportunity for a Kennel Attendant to be part of our Dog Unit Support, Dog and Mounted Command. The position of kennel attendant provides maintenance and care of canines (from birth to 8 years of age) housed within the kennel complex. The Kennel Attendant provides a daily service to canines including the allocation of food/equipment, exercising, kennel cleaning/hygiene and ensuring the health/care of all Police canines comply with the requirements of the Department of Primary Industry and the guidelines and processes of the Dog Unit.
