What’s on offer?

We wish to complement our existing team with a Laboratory Manager within our Fulton Hogan Infrastructure Services Business delivering road infrastructure projects across South Australia and Northern Territory. In this role you'll be responsible for:

To manage the operation of the laboratory in accordance with Fulton Hogan Company Safety, Quality, Environmental and other policies
Overseeing the NATA requirements for asphalt, binders and emulsion laboratories and maintain the NATA Accreditation of all central laboratories
To engage, train, lead, develop and ensure relevant certification is held by laboratory staff
Initiate and drive continuous improvement in laboratory operations
Review targets, costs and work procedures regularly to ensure tasks are being carried out effectively and efficiently.

How you'll connect to the role:

Bachelor in engineering or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering, Engineering Geology or related qualification
Minimum of 5 years full time experience in construction materials testing
Strong knowledge of NATA’s requirements, Australian standards and local road authorities
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and knowledge of Qest Lab would be an advantage
